Bulletin from the New England Radio Discussion Society

The New England Radio Discussion Society meets this coming Tuesday, April 18th, at 7-PM at The New School on Route One in Kennebunk. At that time AA1EF will lead an interactive discussion about Smith Charts, a graphical tool invented by Phillip H. Smith that can help you design transmission lines and matching circuits in your shack.

The previous meeting was attended by KB1MVP, Peter, WB2UQP, Susan, KB1RBK, Brian, N1QX, RJ, AA1EF, Richard, W3NA, John, W1BOF, George, KB1GTT, Jared, K1ETK, Laurie, KB1VPD, Tom, K1WHS, Dave, and AI2Q, Alex.

NOTE: The regular meeting will be preceded by the NERDS electronics course Phase 4 review of RF receivers, commencing at 6:15-PM. N1QX's Web page presently hosts the NERDS presentation files to date, and related materials for our electronics course.

Tech Tales

Got somethin' for Tech Tales show-and-tell? Bring along an item or two to show. Keys, receivers, old tubes, QSL cards, logbook pages, microphones, magazines, headphones, meters, etc. are all fair game.

Remember, there are no dues required to be a NERDS participant. There are no boring business meetings. You don't even have to be a ham to attend. Everyone is welcome, including family and friends. We'll also gather for coffee and breeze shooting at the local McDonald's following the meeting.

CU this coming Tuesday!
