Southern Maine Area Amateur Radio Team to meet March 2nd

Bulletin from the Southern Maine Area Amateur Radio Team

Following on the heels of a nifty CW QSO Party hosted on ten meters by W3NA, the Southern Maine Area Amateur Radio Team will meet next week on Tuesday, March 2nd at The New School on Rt. One in Kennebunk.

We will pow-wow at 7-PM, following the Morse Course, which convenes promptly at 6:20-PM.

As always, all Radio Amateurs, newcomers, friends, families, and New England Radio Discussion Society (NERDS) founders, are invited to SMAART meetings.

Despite the bad WX, in attendance at the previous SMAART meeting were KC1DLE, Bill, KB1GTT, Jared, K1WHS, Dave, W3NA, John, KD1WA, Herve, KB1VPD, Tom, AA1EF, Richard, KØZK, Arnold, W1BOF, and AI2Q, Alex.

At next week's meeting we'll take a peek at some RF measurement tools available to hams, and discuss how they can best be used, especially for new hams setting up their first stations.

Bring show-and-tell items for the Tech Tales session, too, and perhaps some items for swap.

A follow-on coffee-and-donuts session happens at the local McDonalds after the meeting.

Diddly dah dih dah!
