The next New England Radio Discussion Society Tech Talk will commence on Tuesday, November 29th at 7-PM at the High Pine Fire Station in Wells, Maine on Rte. 1Ø9. The firehouse is just off the Maine Turnpike on High Pine Loop Road.

On November 29th, AB1PU will offer NERDS attendees a view into the Arduino system. Tom's demo will include hands-on Arduino applications for Amateur Radio.

What is Arduino, you may ask?

In short, it's an open-source computing system based on simple microcontroller boards and an environment for writing software (called sketches) for the very low-cost Arduino boards. You can run Arduino tools under Mac OSX, Windows, or Linux.

Have a fine Thanksgiving, and CU on the 29th!
