Field Day T-Shirts – REMINDER

FD TshirtField Day T-Shirts will once again be available for those who are interested. Chuck KB1OMS and Chris K1YU will take orders at the PCARC meeting this Wednesday. Shirts are $15 ea., and any proceeds beyond the printing cost go to the Field Day Kitchen Fund to help bring us more and better food!

PLEASE bring your payment to the meeting on June 3. There will not likely be many extras for those who order later.

How To Get On Echolink With A Mac

EchoMac is a client program for OS X that allows
connection to the EchoLink System The first time
you use the Echolink network, you will need to verify
your callsign.

Please visit http://www.echolink.org/el/register_data.asp
to register your
callsign and email address.

Requirements

  • OS X 10.3.9 or later with the BSD Subsystem
  • Audio input device
  • (Sound preference pane before launching EchoMac)
  • Internet connection

Field Day 2008 Rules & Forms Now Available

It’s that time of year again — time to start
gearing up for Field Day, ARRL’s flagship
operating event. Field Day, held the fourth
full weekend in June, brings together new and
experienced hams for 24 hours of operating fun.
ARRL Field Day Manager Dan Henderson, N1ND, says
there are  several rules changes this year, mainly
concerning "Get on the Air" (GOTA) stations and the
elimination of the Demonstration Mode Bonus Category.
